School Break!

I don't have school now for a couple of days 3 if you count them all because Monday is Martin L. King day to honor a leader from the 1950's or something like that. Anyways today at school we had an assembly that talked about like 50 years ago back in the civil rights when white and black people couldn't be together as one. People were afraid that white men would lose power and business. So they thought all people of color would take advantage and they didn't want to loose their power so they were violent and rude to them. Like different neighborhoods and people of color had to sit in the back of the bus. The K.K's would attack and kill people even white people who tried to stand up to the people who were harsh to black men and women. So yeah it went on the video we saw back in the day was so sad. Now thank goodness people get along well. Anyways so have a great weekend! bye
